A Project for World Peace  

We are delighted to be in discussion with Rinpoche and are actively engaged “revisioning” the 100,000 Stupa Project so that we can build stupas on our land to benefit “as quickly as possible.” Right now we know there will be a three story central stupa (30 ft). Rinpoche has advised us to check with Khadro la on the type which will be most beneficial, and that the central stupa will be surrounded by smaller stupas of the 8 different types which will be sponsored by donors. Radiating out from that will be many other stupas within a lush garden setting. There will be benches for reflection and paths to walk. The 100,000 Stupa Project will be enclosed by a wall where thousands of small stupas will be placed.Stay tuned! We are excited about this new vision of the Stupa Project at LMB! This modern stupa will be made up of a total of 100,000 stupas. The interior of the main stupa structure will host a museum-like-room containing many Buddhist artifacts and will be a work of art and architecture in itself. Located in the Santa Cruz mountains of California this peace stupa will not only be aesthetically beautiful but will also be a beacon of peace and blessings for the world.
